Departure (Revival)

Everything seen... The visions always win around this time,
returning to greed in dreams that curdle over the thought of a religious 'you'.

Everything had... The sensations infected every opening, 
perfuming memories with the ecstasy of newly-rubbed flesh. 

Everything known... The wisdom that forces feelings off their hinges
prophesizes an eventual revolution: that I could shave myself and try again,
like a blue-eyed God turning towards eternity.
